Chicago, 2005. Victoria McPherson, a brilliant young FBI agent, investigates the murders of a serial killer. There are already five corpses but no solid evidence and her boss is watching closely. Taking advantage of the Christmas period, Victoria decides to take a small break to visit her father and finds out her grandfather, Gustav McPherson, used to be a private detective. Searching through the attic she finds her grandfather’s documents, one of which dates from the 30’s and closely resembles her own murder case…

While carrying out her investigation, Victoria will be haunted by the case Gustav had to solve in Prague 75 years ago. Who knows if this may not guide her through her quest?
