How does your system work ?

The system allows on demand video game downloading.
All games are offered in demo version prior to purchase, so you only buy those which you really want!
When you’ve decided to buy one, you own it and can play it indefinitely, just as though you’d bought it through a retail store.


Do I have to pay to play?

No. Most of our games are offered in demo mode which allows you to play without spending a cent. However, if you want to acquire the complete version of the game, you will have to pay. Then you will own it as though you had bought it in a store.


How do I install the game I just bought?

Double click on the downloaded game icon (It should have been installed on your desktop, unless you had it installed elsewhere on your computer).
The installer will take over, and you should only be a few clicks away from playing. Once installation in complete, simply double click on the icon again, and play!
Another solution to finding installed games is to click on the Windows “Start” menu, then on “Programs”, then on “Boontygames”, then choose the game you want to play.


Can I install the games in the folder of my choice?

Yes. When you launch the installer, it shows you the default folder in which it wants to make the installation: C:/programfiles/boontygames/game name).
You can change the destination folder to anything you want, however it is easier if you let the installer put all your games in the same place.


How do I pay for the games?

When you want to buy your game, pay using a bank card (Visa, American Express, MasterCard) or PayPal which is the fastest, easiest, and safest way to make the purchase.



Are the payments secure ?

All methods of payment proposed are on secured servers (SSL Protocol) which enables us to offer totally secure transactions. In no event are your bank details transmitted over the net without having been encrypted by our system, in order to guarantee you maximum security. Additionally, neither tribe.net nor Boonty keep credit card numbers after payment.


When I decide to buy, what do I get?

All the games are offered for download either in demo or full versions.
No need to leave your home nor wait days for invoices. The game is in your computer instantly!


I already have the demo version, how can I get the Full Version?

Easy. When you launch your game, or within the game menus, you have a button labeled “Purchase” or “BUY”. Click on it, and you’ll be connected to the purchasing system.


Is my personal information confidential ?

All the personal data provided are treated with the highest degree of confidentiality in accordance with applicable privacy laws.
Customers have access to their information at any moment for the purpose of updating or correcting their data either by sending a registered letter to the publishing company, or by E-mail to the following address: rqst_info @ boonty.com (Please note this address cannot answer technical questions)


Can I enter information other than what has been asked for?

Of course, but your address information, especially your E-Mail address allows us to unlock your game once you’ve purchased it.
With erroneous information, you run the risk of paying for a game you can’t play afterward.


Before starting my game, why is there a screen limiting use of the game?

That screen is necessary for the demo version of your game.
If you purchased the game, that screen protects you from illegal copying.
Games are the product of many combined talents which must be paid for to ensure new games are continuously developed.


What are the system requirements?

Each game offered on http://www.playtoad.com requires different system configurations.
To find out if your system will handle the game you want, check out the “Required Configuration” part of the game description. It will ll tell you everything you need to know.
As for the site on which you’re navigating: It was designed for Netscape 4.6 or Explorer 5 or higher.
